Large decorative Christmas candy cane designed for 3D printing.

This model started when my wife asked me if I could make some large candy canes for our Christmas decorations. Rather than downloading an existing design, I decided to create one from scratch.

The model was developed with the help of ChatGPT, which helped me create and refine a Python script for Blender to generate the candy cane geometry.

The finished candy cane is approximately 305 mm tall and is split into separate sections to make it easier to print and assemble.

The red and white sections can be printed separately in their respective colours, so no painting is required.

Assembly:

Print the individual sections and join them together in order to form the complete candy cane.

This is one of my first projects where I used AI not simply to generate an idea, but to help create the actual Blender modelling code that produced the printable model.
