Creator/Owner: Originally built by Sean Casey, and currently operated by Ryan Shepard at Storm of Passion.

• Build & Specs: Weighs roughly 14,300 lbs, features a 3-axle 6x4 configuration with 10 heavy-duty tires, powered by a 6.7-liter turbocharged Cummins diesel engine (top speed over 100 mph), and built with a 1/8-inch steel skin over 2-inch square tubing steel with 1.63-inch bullet-resistant polycarbonate and tempered glass windows.
• Recent Activity: Successfully intercepted an EF1 tornado near Braman, Oklahoma, on April 23, 2026. [1, 2, 3, 4]

Dominator 2

• Creator/Owner: Built and operated by storm chaser and meteorologist Reed Timmer.
• Build & Specs: Designed with a more aerodynamic shape than its predecessor, a wider wheelbase, hydraulic side skirts/flaps, and a mechanical ground-spike system to anchor the vehicle during high winds.
• Status: After sustaining damage and sitting out of active service for years (with Reed Timmer moving on to the Dominator 3), Dominator 2 has faced long-term storage/inoperability issues, though teams have periodically looked at restoration efforts. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
