What is an AI 3D generator?
An AI 3D generator creates 3D models from a text description or a photo. With PrintPal you type something like "a low-poly fox figurine on a round base" or upload a picture, and about a minute later you have a model you can download as STL, OBJ, or GLB and send to your printer. No CAD experience required.

Are the generated 3D models ready to print?
Yes. Every model is built for 3D printing: the mesh is repaired (holes closed, non-manifold geometry fixed) and exported in formats every slicer opens, including Bambu Studio, PrusaSlicer, Cura, and OrcaSlicer. As with any model, very thin or highly detailed parts may need supports or a larger print size.

Can I sell the models and prints I make?
Yes, on Pro and Studio. Commercial rights let you sell 3D prints of your models and sell or license the digital files, whether that's on Etsy, at markets, or in client work. The Free plan is for personal, non-commercial use.

What file formats can I export?
Every plan exports STL and OBJ. Pro and Studio add GLB and PLY, which are handy for AR, web viewers, and workflows that keep color.

How long does it take to generate a 3D model?
Draft models usually finish in 30 to 60 seconds. Refined and Production quality take a little longer because they build more detail. Pro and Studio generations run on a priority queue, so they stay fast at busy times.

Do I need 3D modeling or CAD experience?
No. If you can describe an object in a sentence or take a photo of it, you can make a model. A clear description of a single object works best, for example "a dragon-shaped phone stand with a flat base".

Can I edit a model after it's generated?
Yes. On Pro and Studio you can describe changes such as "make it taller," "add a base," or "hollow it out," and the model updates. You can also take any model into PrintPal's 3D printing tools to make it articulated, cut it into a puzzle, add a fidget clicker, and more.

What happens if I run out of generations?
You can buy extra generations at any time, or wait for your allowance to refresh at the start of your next billing cycle. Free allowances refresh every calendar month.

Do you offer plans for schools and teams?
