Brief
What we're looking for.
Design something that does a job. Tools and tool holders, jigs and fixtures, clamps and clips, brackets and wall mounts, adapters, replacement and repair parts, workshop organisers, measuring aids, cable and hose guides: anything you printed because the thing you needed did not exist, did not fit, or cost too much.
Good entries are tested, not just rendered. A photo of the part doing its job, the material you printed it in and why, the tolerances you used, whether it needs supports, and what you would change next time. Parts that take load or heat should say so.
Make it with anything: Tinkercad, Fusion, Blender, OpenSCAD, FreeCAD, a PrintPal tool if you like. Entries are judged on the part and its documentation, not the software. Publish the model on PrintPal (a free account) and enter from the trophy menu on the model page.
Rules & judging
Entries close . Judging runs until . Up to 5 entries per maker.
- Your own design. Remixes are fine if the source is credited on the model page. AI-assisted models are welcome; say so in the description. No trademarks, logos or copyrighted characters.
- The object must do a job. Decorative pieces are not eligible here.
- Print-ready file: STL, 3MF or STEP, watertight, in millimetres at real size, with your recommended orientation and whether it needs supports.
- Listing: a title that says what it is and what it fits, a description with the key dimensions, material and print settings, and at least two images. A photo of the part in use scores highest.
- Up to five entries per maker. Each entry must be published on PrintPal between the open and close dates.
- Judged on usefulness (40%), print quality and design (30%) and documentation (30%). Community likes set the running order on the wall; the judges' scores decide the podium.
- Keep the model published for at least 12 months.
- Entries close Sunday 29 November 2026, 23:59 UTC. Winners are announced Monday 30 November. Winners choose between the options listed for their place; the printer ships where Bambu Lab delivers, otherwise the cash equivalent is paid; subscriptions are applied to the winner's PrintPal account.
