Design & Science: Focuses on aerodynamics, faster deployment, gull-wing doors, and air cannons used to launch scientific probes (such as Dorothy sensors) directly into tornado funnels. [1, 2, 3]
Performance: Offers better speed, mobility, and a more comfortable ride, though its flatter sides make it slightly more prone to rolling compared to the TIV 2's low-slung/heavy frame.
