Brief
What we're looking for.
Design something useful for the house. In the kitchen: bag clips, spice racks, scoops and measuring tools, jar openers and grips, cookie cutters, coasters, napkin and towel holders, drawer and fridge organisers. Everywhere else: soap dishes, toothbrush holders, towel hooks, shower caddies, door stops, switch covers, curtain and blind parts, pet bowls and feeders.
Good entries say what they touch (food, water, heat), which material you printed in and why, and show the object where it lives rather than on a build plate. Nothing printed should be sold as dishwasher- or food-safe without saying how.
Make it with anything: Tinkercad, Fusion, Blender, OpenSCAD, FreeCAD, a PrintPal tool if you like. Entries are judged on the design and the listing, not the software. Publish the model on PrintPal (a free account) and enter from the trophy menu on the model page.
Rules & judging
Entries close . Judging runs until . Up to 5 entries per maker.
- Your own design. Remixes are fine if the source is credited on the model page. AI-assisted models are welcome; say so in the description. No trademarks, logos or copyrighted characters.
- The object must have a use in a home. Pure decoration is not eligible here.
- Say on the listing whether it contacts food or water and which material you recommend; do not claim dishwasher- or food-safety without explaining the material and finish.
- Print-ready file: STL, 3MF or STEP, watertight, in millimetres at real size, with your recommended orientation and whether it needs supports.
- Listing: a title that says what it is and what it fits, a description with the key dimensions, material and print settings, and at least two images. A photo of it in use in a real home scores highest.
- Up to five entries per maker. Each entry must be published on PrintPal between the open and close dates.
- Judged on usefulness (40%), print quality and design (30%) and the listing itself: title, photos, description (30%). Community likes set the running order on the wall; the judges' scores decide the podium.
- Keep the model published for at least 12 months.
- Entries close Sunday 29 November 2026, 23:59 UTC. Winners are announced Monday 30 November. Winners choose between the options listed for their place; the printer ships where Bambu Lab delivers, otherwise the cash equivalent is paid; subscriptions are applied to the winner's PrintPal account.
