A compact, easy-to-clean bottle drying rack designed to keep bottles upright, organized, and drying efficiently.

The DuoDry Bottle Rack is a space-saving countertop drying solution designed to hold two bottles upside down, allowing excess water to drain naturally after washing.

Instead of leaving freshly washed bottles scattered across the countertop or taking up space on a conventional dish rack, DuoDry provides a dedicated drying area with two upright drying posts that keep bottles separated and supported.

The removable drainage grate features a staggered slot pattern that allows water to pass through into the base tray. The grate can be lifted out for easy cleaning, while integrated reinforcements around the drying posts provide additional support to help prevent sagging under heavier bottles.

Designed in Autodesk Fusion 360, DuoDry accommodates bottles up to 70 mm in body diameter (not the bottle mouth) and features a compact, minimalist design suitable for everyday kitchen use.

All components can be printed together on a single build plate or on separate plates for different colors, without AMS.

The 101 mm drying posts provide enough height to support compatible bottles in an inverted position without unnecessarily increasing the rack's overall height.

Please measure your bottles before printing. Compatibility may vary depending on bottle opening diameter, body shape, weight, and dimensions.

Design Features

Removable Drainage System

DuoDry uses a two-part drainage system consisting of a base tray and a removable slotted grate.

The drainage grate features a staggered arrangement of rounded slots, allowing excess water from washed bottles to pass through into the tray below.

The removable design provides easier access to the tray for emptying collected water, cleaning, and maintenance.

Reinforced Drying Posts

The two drying posts are positioned to accommodate compatible bottles while maintaining a compact footprint.

Additional structural reinforcements around the post locations provide support beneath the removable drainage grate. These features are intended to help distribute the weight of bottles and reduce deformation or sagging.

The reinforcements are built into the design itself and are not disposable 3D printing supports.

How to Use

1. Prepare the rack: Place the removable drainage grate into the base tray, ensuring it sits properly around the drying posts.
2. Position the rack: Set DuoDry on a flat, stable countertop near your washing area.
3. Place your bottles: Position washed bottles upside down over the drying posts, ensuring they are centered and stable.
4. Allow water to drain: Excess water flows through the staggered drainage openings into the base tray.
5. Empty and clean: Remove the drainage grate as needed to dispose of collected water, rinse the components, and allow them to dry thoroughly.

Design Notes & Printing Recommendations

• Recommended Filament: PETG
• Build Plate: All components fit on a single plate, split into two plates if printing in two colors.
• AMS: Not Required
• Print Orientation: Print the base tray and removable grate flat against the build plate.
• Slicer Supports: Check the sliced model for any necessary supports, especially around post geometry.
• Intended Use: Indoor kitchen countertop use.

Material & Water Contact

PETG is recommended for its moisture resistance, toughness, and suitability for household accessories that are frequently exposed to water.

DuoDry is intended to contact water from freshly washed bottles. The drying posts may also contact bottle openings or interiors.

Although PETG is generally moisture-resistant, FDM-printed surfaces can contain layer lines and small crevices where moisture and residue may accumulate. Regular cleaning and thorough drying are recommended.

The finished model is not certified as food-safe or dishwasher-safe. Hand-washing is recommended, and exposure to high temperatures should be avoided.

Regularly empty collected water from the base tray to maintain cleanliness.
